Electronic Manufacturers Sales marks twenty eight years.
2012 is the twenty eighth year of operation for EMS in the telecom and data field of test equipment for lab and field operations. We have also been offering UPS systems for critical applications since then and continue to do so.
EMS has been providing test equipment for use by telecom firms, cable firms and manufactures' whose products are offered to these market places since 1984. Products have ranged from simple hand held test gear for different parts of the ISO model in the field, to rack mounted equipment in communication centers, and Labs testing for voice and video quality.
We have moved along with the times.
- Way back then a 300 bps modem cost thousands of dollars and was considered lightning fast!
- Today, we talk about Gigabit speeds transporting everything from voice to data and video in IP formats. We talk about "soft switches" for telecom today and we have products to test and evaluate "SIP" in your lab or end user use.
- Advances in Copper, Fiber and Wireless have allowed for these faster speeds. We have products for testing the throughput as well as the information carried on these mediums for the lab and in the field.
- If you are concerned with testing hundreds of modems for broadband, be they cable or fiber for voice or data, or a combination we have product for that.
- We even have POTS testers as well as DS0, T-1, DS3 and STS-1, with the option of testing primary rate as well.
