

The FiBO line of true phase-shifting
Michelson interferometers for non-contact fiber optic endface
testing combines interferometric 3D surface mapping and 2D visual
inspection capabilities in a compact, rugged, and very portable
design. Standing only about 6.5 inches tall, the FiBO is powered by
a simple USB 2.0 interface and features a patent pending vibration
insensitive optomechanical design. Unique quick-change pre-aligned
adaptors require no adjustments or calibration. A feature-packed,
highly versatile instrument, the FiBO is currently offered in the
following configurations to meet various measurement applications.
FiBO® 250 SERIES - Fixed Magnification
FiBO 250 Series offers
a solid and economical solution to automated fiber testing by
bringing together full 2D visual inspection capabilities and true
phase-shifting interferometry to achieve exceptionally accurate
measurements. A fixed focal length 10x magnifier assures maximum
system stability and a very high level of repeatability.
